In 1891 he was living at 10 Higher Gullet, Aspull, and working as a coal miner. In 1901 he was living at 2 Brook Street, Aspull and working as a coal miner. In 1911 he was living at 111 Clock Face Road, St. Helens, and working as a coal miner.
