Ann Brandwood was the daughter of Matthias and Mary Ann Brandwood, and was born on 20th May, 1774, in Chowbent. She was baptised at Newbent Unitarian Chapel, Chowbent, on 10th June, 1774. She married Barclay Bellingall at Manchester Cathedral on 9th December 1793.
