David Bellingall or Ballingall was born in Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh, on 5th July 1735. He married Mary Johnstone at St. Cuthberts church, Edinburgh, on 26th July 1763. He died on 8th April 1796 in Edinburgh, aged 60.
