Priscilla Eke was born in Guestwick in 1849 and was the daughter of John Eke (1808) and Susannah Scott. In 1851 and 1861 she was living in Guestwick; she was working on a farm in 1861. In 1871 she was working on the land in Foulsham and living with her elder sister Naomi.
