Notes for Richard William Rawston
Richard William Rawston was born in 1865 in Little Walsingham and was the son of Henry Rawston (1837) and Rebecca Plane. In 1871 he was living in the Crown Inn. In 1881 he was a pupil teacher and was living at the Robin Hood inn in Guild Street, Little Walsingham. He married Marguerite Coe in early 1888. In 1891 he was living with his family and parents at the Crown Inn in Little Walsingham and working as a council clerk. In 1901 he was living at Oak Tree Farm, Hopton Entire, where he was an assistant clerk in the waterworks. In 1911 he was working as a coal merchant’s foreman and living at 112 Newmarket Street, Norwich. He died in the Fakenham RD in 1949.
