Notes for Robert Kingaby
Robert Kingaby was born in Hingham in 1863 and was the son of Thomas Kingaby (1826) and Mary Houchen. In 1871 he was living at the Post Office. In 1881 and 1891 he was a post office clerk. He was the postmaster and stationer in 1901. He married Phoebe Curry in 1903. Robert was listed as the sub-postmaster for Hingham in 1912, as well as manufacturing ginger-beer and acting as the secretary for the local Odd Fellows Lodge. He died in the Norwich RD in 1939.
