Ann Daplyn was born in Hindringham around 1814 and married William Flood (1809), a farmer's son around 1840. In 1851 she was living with William and her in-laws in Hindringham. In 1861 she and William were running the farm in Hindringham. In 1879, she was present at the death of her sister-in-law, Esther Flood in Binham. In 1881 she was widowed and living with her son-in-law, John Golding, at his farm in Hindringham.
