William Flood was born in Thursford around 1778. He married Mary Hill in Thurning on 24th November 1801. In 1841 he was farming in Emms Lane, Hindringham. In 1851, he was a farmer of 131 acres in Hindringham. He died in Hindringham of chronic hepatitis on 15th October, 1853, aged 76.
