Harriet Mingay was born in Norwich in 1843 and was the daughter of Frederic Mingay (1820) and Sarah Harriet Bridges. In 1851 and 1861 she was living in Crooks Place, Chapel Street, Norwich. She was a shoe binder in 1861.
