Sidney Broughton was the son of John Broughton (1863) and Elizabeth, and was born in Holt in 1890. In 1891 he was living in Fish Hill, Holt. In 1901 he was living in Letheringsett. In 1911 he was living in Letheringsett Road, Holt, and was a water fitter.
