Willie Broughton was born in February 1881 in Ravensmeer, Beccles and was the son of Raymond Broughton (1842) and Louisa Garrould. In 1881 he was living in New Road in Beccles. He died from Tabes Mesenterica - tuberculosis of the lymph nodes, and struma - scrofula - aged 5 months, on 5th July 1881 at Ravensmeer and was buried in Beccles Cemetery on 9th July.
