Daniel Broughton was born in Plumstead on 8th April 1782 and was the son of Robert Broughton (1748) and Ann King. He married a woman from Plumstead called Rosamund. In 1861 he was living with his wife in Plumstead. He died in Plumstead on 14th July 1864.
