Angela Audrey Broughton, the daughter of Sidney Broughton (1907) and Stella Benns, was born in Wickham on 9th April 1944. She married Alan Michael Goodridge at St. Mary's, Portchester, on 3rd October 1964. Angela and Alan had three children: Michael John (1965, Barbara Ann (1965) [twins]) and Joanne (1969).
