Ann Cunliffe was born in 1806 and christened in Leigh on 30th August 1806. She was the daughter of Ralph Cunliffe (1782) and Betty Leather. She married John Booth at St Peter's church, Bolton-le-Moors on 31st January 1836. In 1843 she was living in or near Blackrod when her daughter Ellen was born. In 1851 she was a shop keeper in Blackrod. In 1861 she was living at the grocer's shop in Little Scotland and was aged 54. In 1871 she was aged 64, a widow, and living with her daughter and son-in-law at 13 Little Scotland, Blackrod. She died in Hill Lane, Blackrod of natural causes, aged 69, on 10th September 1874.
