Ann Boland was born in Cuckney, Nottinghamshire, in 1857 and was the daughter of Thomas Boland (1831) and Ann Giligan. Both parents were from County Kildare in Ireland. In 1861 she was living at 48 Newgate Street in Worksop. She married Myles McNeff from a Manchester Irish family at St. Aloysius, Ardwick, on 22nd November 1880. In 1881 she was living with Miles’ family at 44 Bennett Street, Ardwick. In 1911 she was living at 101 Mountpottinger Road, Pottinger, County Down.
