Fanny Ainscough was born around 1894 in Pemberton and was the daughter of Solomon Ainscough (1867) and Mary Beardsmore. In 1901 she was aged 7 and was living at 141 Enfield Street, Pemberton. In 1911 she was living at 290 Warrington Road, Pemberton, and working as a cotton winder.
