Ellen Ainscough was born on 23rd September 1811 and christened on 20th October 1811 at St. Katherine's Church in Blackrod. She was the daughter of Ralph Ainscough (b.1782) and Nanny. She died in 1828 and was buried in Blackrod on 20th January.
