| Phebe
Woodhouse was born around 1832 in Beeston Regis and was possibly the
daughter of William Woodhouse (1804) and Mary. In 1851 she was a servant
in the household of John A. Partridge, the Rector of Baconsthorpe,
and was living in the Rectory. She married Robert Broughton (1832)
in Edgefield on 26th March 1857. She was the daughter-in-law of Robert
Broughton (1798) and the granddaughter-in-law of John Broughton (1768).
In 1861 she was at Cross Green in Edgefield. In 1871 she was living
in the Street, Marsham. By 1881 she was living in White Horse Common,
North Walsham. She was widowed by 1891 and living in Spa Common, North
Walsham. |
