WILLIAM WINWARD (1846 - ?)
William Winward was born in Westhoughton in 1846 and was the son of James Winward (1822) and Mary Taylor. In 1851 he was living at Caldwell Cottages, Westhoughton. In 1861 he was aged 15 and was living in Chapel Lane, Westhoughton. In 1871 he was still living in Chapel Lane and working as a mill hand - possibly in a silk weaving mill..
