WINWARD (1803 - 1882) |

William
Winward was born on 30th November 1803 and christened in Westhoughton
on 1st January 1804. He was the son of William Winward (1777) and
Margaret Green. He married Mary Marsh on 22nd June 1829 at Deane.
From 1841 to 1861 he was farming at Broome House, Westhoughton. By
1871 he had retired and was living in Chapel Lane. He was living at
172 Church Street, Westhoughton in 1881 and listed as a retired farmer.
He died on 21st October 1882.
