| Margaret
Winward was born around 1858 in Westhoughton and was the daughter
of James Winward (1822) and Mary Taylor. In 1861 she was aged 3 and
was living in Chapel Lane, Westhoughton. By 1871 she was a silk weaver
and still living in Chapel Lane. In 1881 she was aged 23, was working
as a silk weaver and was living at 105 Church Street, Westhoughton.
