Winward was born around 1833 and was the daughter of William Winward
(1803) and Mary Marsh. In 1841 and 1861 she was living at Broome House,
Westhoughton, her father's farm. In 1871 she was living in Chapel
Lane. In 1881 she was single, and was living with her father at 172
Church Street, Westhoughton.
