GETTY WILSON (1823 - 1871)

Alexander
Getty Wilson was born in Antrim, Co. Antrim, Ireland on 18th August
1823, and was the son of David Wilson and Ellen Wallace. He married
Louisa Bellingall (1824) in Manchester Cathedral on 21st May 1844.
In 1851 he was living at 2 Davies Street, Manchester, and working
as a beer retailer. In 1861 he was boarding with his family in the
household of beer retailer Charles R. Marland at the Crown Inn Beer
House, 43/48 Naylor Street, in the New Cross area of Manchester. His
occupation was given as agent. In 1871 he was living at 29 Naylor
Street and working as a loan agent. He died in Manchester in 1871,
aged 47.
