RACHEL ELIZABETH TIMBERS (1831 - ?)
Rachel Elizabeth Timbers was the daughter of Joseph Timbers (1806) and Ann Pooley and was born in Sco Ruston on 17th November 1831. In 1841 she was living in Sco Ruston. In 1851 she was working as a house servant in the household of farmer John G. Betts in Scottow. She married shoemaker James Sayer in 1858. In 1861 she was visiting her parents in Tunstead Road, Sco Ruston. In 1871 she was living at 60 Cumberland Street in Shoreditch, London. James died and she married William Tye, her widowed brother-in-law - previously married to her sister Sophia - in 1879. In 1881 she was living at 4 Park Terrace in Kingston.
