Louisa
Timbers was the daughter of Samuel Peacock Timbers (1848) and Elizabeth
Hunn and was born in Great Yarmouth in 1868. In 1881 she was living
with her stepfather, David Todd, and her mother at 29 Nelson Road
in Gorleston. By 1891 she had joined the Salvation Army and, at the
time of the census, was listed as a visitor at the home of Lucy Chambers
- also in the Salvation Army - at 12 Mayda Road in Hackney.
