WILLIAM RAWSTON (1819 - 1851)
William Rawston was born around 1819 in Little Walsingham and was the son of William Rawston (1784) and Mary Ann Folker. In 1841 he was working as a draper and was living in Stonegate Street, Little Walsingham. In 1851 he was a grocer and draper shopman and was living in Stonegate Street. He died from phthisis - probably pulmonary tuberculosis - in Little Walsingham on 13th August 1851. Sarah Woodgeld, the prison turnkey's wife (the Woodgelds lived in Stonegate Street) was present at his death..
