Emma
Rawston was the daughter of Henry Rawston (1837) and Rebecca Plane
and was born in Little Walsingham in 1857. In 1861 she was living
in the household of her grandfather, Robert Plane, in the Bridewell,
Little Walsingham. In 1871 she was living in the Crown Inn, Little
Walsingham. In 1881 she was boarding in the household of John Plane
at Lower Rockliffe in Spotland, Lancashire. She was working as a milliner.
She married John Richard Chew (1858) from Blackburn in 1885. In 1891
Emma was living in Spotland. In 1901 she was living at 7 Venture Street,
Bacup.
