ROBERT
PURDY (1802 - 1878)

Robert
Purdy was born in 1802 in Little Walsingham and was the son of William
Purdy (1776) and Hannah Williamson. He married Martha Lambert in Little
Walsingham in 1828. In 1841 he was living in the High Street, Little
Walsingham and working as a cabinet maker. In 1851 he was described
as a journeyman carpenter and was living in the High Street. He was
listed as a joiner and cabinet maker in 1854 and as a journeyman carpenter
in 1871. Robert Purdy died in Little Walsingham in 1878, aged 75.
