| Alison
Pomfrey was born around 1895 in Colney, Herts and was the daughter
of Charles Pomfrey (b. 1862) and Mary. She was the granddaughter of
Charles Pomfrey (b. 1828) and the great-granddaughter of Thomas Pomfrey
(b. 1786). In 1901 she was aged 6 and was living in Shenley, Herts,
probably at the Smith's Shop.
