PEACOCK (1779 - 1862)

Samuel
Peacock was born in 1779 at St. Neots. He joined the 13th Light Dragoons and rose to the rank of Sergeant. He married Lydia Smith in Cardington
on 19th July 1807. In 1841 he was living with Lydia in Coltishall
and was either in the army or was ex-army. Lydia died and he married
a woman called Mary. In 1851 he was living with Mary near the Yarmouth
Road in Flegg and was a Chelsea Pensioner. In 1861 he was living in
Purday's Loke, Caister. He died from bronchitis in Caister on 7th January 1862.
