Elizabeth
Moore was born around 1867 in Aspull and was the daughter of William
Moore (1833) and Jane. In 1871 she was aged 4 and living in Ratcliffe
Roaw, Aspull. In 1881 she was aged 14, working as a servant and living
with her family at their farm in Blundell Fold, Blackrod. She married
Michael Ainscough (1864) in 1886. She was the daughter-in-law of James
Ainscough (1843) and the granddaughter-in-law of William Ainscough
(1816). In 1891 she was living at 20 Little Scotland in Blackrod.
In 1901 she was aged 34 and living at 12 Off Houghton Street in Hindley.
