MANGNALL (1818 - 1876)

William
Mangnall was born in 1818 and christened on 22nd February in Westhoughton.
He was the son of Thomas Mangnall (1784) and Ellen Pierpoint. He married
a woman called Ellen around 1841. He worked mainly as a silk weaver
and lived in Westhoughton all his life. In 1841 he was living in Dobb
Brow, Deane - later Westhoughton - and working as a cotton weaver.
In 1851 he was living in Dobb Brow, in 1861 in Balfin Fold and, in
1871, in Chapel Lane.
