| Levi
Mangnall was the son of Thomas Mangnall (1853) and Ann Winward and was born
in Westhoughton in 1881. In that year he was living at 3 Harrison's
Square, Wigan. In 1891 he was working as a cotton creeler and living
at 18 Baker Street, Westleigh. In 1901 he was aged 20, was working
as a cotton piecer, and was living at 20 Kirkhall Lane, Leigh. He married Harriet Ann Lee in 1907.
