Henry
Mangnall was the son of William Mangnall (1762) and Ann Harrison,
and was christened in Westhoughton on 21st December 1800. He married
Mary around 1827. In 1851 he was living in King Street, Farnworth,
and working as a labourer. In 1861 he was working as a bricklayer's
labourer and was living in King Street. The 1861 census lists another
Peter, born in Lostock in 1845; this may have been the illegitimate
son of one of the older daughters.
