Abel
Mangnall was born in 1825 and christened on 20th February in Westhoughton.
He was the son of Thomas Mangnall (1784) and Ellen Pierpoint. He was
mainly a silk weaver living in Dobb Brow, Westhoughton all his life.
In 1841 he was listed as a cotton weaver. He married Betty Hall in
1861. In 1881 he was living at 43 Dobb Brow and died in that year.
