Ann
Mangnall was born in 1849 and was christened on 26th August in Westhoughton.
She was the daughter of Peter Mangnall (1822) and Mary Coop. In 1851
she was living in Dobb Brow, Westhoughton. In 1861 she was aged 12,
was working as a silk weaver, and was living at the Dams Head, Westhoughton.
She married John Winward (1848), the son of James Winward (1822) and
Mary Taylor around 1868. In 1881 Ann was aged 33 and was living at
204 Church Street, Westhoughton. In 1891, she was aged 42 and was
living at 2 Lime or Lane Street, Westhoughton. In 1901 she was widowed
and probably living with her son Walter in Horwich.
