June 4 this is my birthday 26 to day

Dear Cousen I received your kind letter and was very pleased to hear that you were all quite well as thank god it leaves me at present father and mother are both quite well and send there kind love to you all and were pleased to hear that you were all quite well Dear cousen I have sent you my Portrait hope that you will receive it safe I shall be very pleased to have yours give my kind love to Aunt and Uncle and cousens and please to write so that I shall receive it in August as I think of leaving my place by the 25 of August I cant tell you much about the country I have not seen it since Christmas but I like the country much better than London it is such a noise place but here is plenty to see the parks are looking very nice now the wether is very warm now we have had a great deal of rain and cold wether Dear cousen I have asked father a great many times to have his likeness taken so that he might send you one but he seems a long time about it he would have to go about 4 miles to have one taken I think that if he started to have it taken he would alter his mind before he reached the place he looks fat and well the last time I saw him you will see by my likeness that I am fat I don't think that I have any more to say at this present so I must conclude with my kind love to you all and except the same yourself I remain your affectionate cousen Betsy Broughton please rite soon
