Mary
Houchen was born on 27th May 1830 in Hingham and was the daughter
of Edmund Houchen (1804) and Mary Parfoot. In 1841 she was living
in Stone Lane, Hingham. In 1851 she was a dressmaker in Hingham. She
married Thomas Kingaby, a Hingham hairdresser and later postmaster,
on 8th June 1857. In 1861 she was living in the Market Place, Hingham.
In 1871 she was listed as living in the Post Office, Hingham. In 1891
she was living in the Market Place, Hingham In 1901, a widow, she
was living in the Market Place with son Robert and widowed daughter
Charlotte.
