| William
Gerrard was born in Haigh in 1835. He married Elizabeth Ainscough
, the daughter of John Ainscough (1810) and Mary Benson in 1857. In
1871 he was working as an engine fitter and living at 30 Harbord Street
in the West Derby area of Liverpool. In 1881 he was living at 14 Heathcott
Street in West Derby and working as an iron fitter. He died in 1890.
William and Elizabeth had eight children:
