NORFOLK GAMEEPERS c.1840

This print from the 1840s gives some idea of what a gamekeeper looked like at that period. William Eke, born in Corpusty, Norfolk, in 1799, started his working life as a gamekeeper in Binham He lived for most of his life in Binham and died there in 1882, retiring as a farmer.
