WILLIAM
FOLKER (1784 - 1872)

William
Folker was born in Walsingham around 1783 and may have been the son
of John Folker (c1760) and Ann Ellis. In 1841 he was living with his
daughter Mary in Love Lane, St. Mary at Hill, London. In 1851 he was
living at 19 Great William Street in Islington, where he was described
as a proprietor of houses. In 1861 William and Mary were living at
19 St. Peter's Grove in Hammersmith and he was listed as a landed
proprietor. By 1871 they had moved to 9 Alfred Road, Acton, where
William was listed as having an annuity. He died in Brentford in 1872,
aged 88.
