This
is Great-Aunt Emma, who married Sidney Broughton, the younger
brother of grandfather Lemuel Charles Broughton. The Flowers
family was one of the many families who had lived in Pakefield,
south of Lowestoft, for many years. Besides the Flowers family,
there were the Roses, the Knights, the Goldspinks and many more.
The Broughtons were comparative foreigners, having moved there
from Beccles in 1901. |
