| Robert
Flood was born around 1822 in Holt. He may have been the son of William
Flood (1778) and Mary. He married Sarah Cushing from Thursford in
Walsingham in 1850. In 1861 he was an agricultural labourer on the
farm of his father-in-law, Osborn Cushing. In 1871 he was farming
50 acres in Thursford.
