gravestone of William Eke and his wife Esther Flood is on
the far left of the churchyard of Binham Priory in Norfolk.
The ground has been cleared and the stone is lying flat on
the earth.
The
inscription reads:
"In
memory of
William Eke
who died May 14th 1882
aged 82 years
also
Esther, his wife,
who died Feb 18th 1879
aged 76 years"
"O
reader watch for death is ever near
And prove then his approach you need not fear" |
