Margaret
Elizabeth Eke was born around 1867 in either Chelsea or Bermondsey
in London, and was the daughter of Theobald Eke (1843) and Harriet.
She was the granddaughter of William Eke (1799). In 1871 she was aged
4 and living at 68 Marlborough Road in Chelsea. In 1881 she was aged
14 and living with her widowed grandfather in Binham. She was present
at his death in Binham on 14th May 1882. She married George Hansell
Tomlinson in West Ham in 1900. They were living at 51 Chatsworth Road,
West Ham - in a confectioner's shop run by Emily Nott - in 1901.
