JOHN EKE (1820 - 1866)
John Eke was born in 1820 and was the son of William Eke (1768) and Rosamund Bullock. He married Martha Cottrill in Norwich in 1840. In 1841 he was living in Kelly's Lane, Saxthorpe, and was working as a blacksmith's apprentice. He was listed as a blacksmith in Corpusty in 1845. In 1861 he was working as a blacksmith in Wellington Road, East Dereham. He died in 1866 aged 46.
