Florence
Eke was born in Norwich in 1874 and was the daughter of James Eke
(1849) and Matilda. In 1881 she was aged 7 and was living at 4 Dolman
Square, Great Yarmouth. In 1891 she was living in Mill Lane, Gorleston
and working as a pupil teacher. In 1901 she was aged 27 and lodging
in the household of railway guard Charles Camp at 5 Buckholt Road
in Leyton, Essex.
