WILLIAM DARBYSHIRE (1828 - ?)

| William Darbyshire was born in 1828 in Standish and was the son of Thomas Darbyshire (1780) and Elizabeth Bell. In 1841 he was living in Hay Row Standish. In 1851 he was living at Stars, Standish, and working as an agricultural labourer on his father's farm. He married Agnes Cooper in 1856. By 1861 he was farming in Standish and living in the village In 1871 he was farming 55 acres at Crawshaw Hall Farm in Adlington By 1881 he was farming 20 acres at Common End in Adlington, and in 1891 was farming at Crawshaw Fold on Adlington Common.
