Elizabeth
Daplyn was born in Hindringham around 1816 and was probably the daughter
of Hindringham miller Thomas Daplyn. She married William Eke (1826)
in 1848. In 1861 and 1871 she was living in Great Walsingham. In 1881
she was a widow and annuitant of 65 and living at The Knoll, Hindringham.
In 1891 she was living by herself in Home Lane, Hindringham. In 1901
she was aged 85 and living with her daughter Louisa at Oak Street
in Fakenham.
