WILLIAM BROUGHTON (1831 - 1912)
William Broughton was born in Edgefield on 27th April 1831 and was the son of Edward Broughton (1805) and Elizabeth Remmington. He was the grandson of John Broughton (1768). He moved to Canada in 1836 with his parents, where he married Sarah Evans between 1861 and 1865. He died on 4th January 1912.
